We are looking for a passionate and skilled Intermediate WordPress Developer who can build modern, responsive, and high-performing websites while collaborating closely with designers and project managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom WordPress websites from Figma, Adobe XD, or other UI designs.
- Build responsive websites using Elementor, Gutenberg, or custom themes.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.
- Develop custom WordPress themes and basic plugins when necessary.
- Convert HTML/CSS designs into fully functional WordPress websites.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals.
- Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and mobile responsive.
- Troubleshoot WordPress issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.
- Manage website migrations, backups, security, and updates.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, forms, and CRM tools.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers and project managers to deliver quality projects on time.
- Maintain code quality, documentation, and development best practices.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of professional WordPress development experience.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS architecture.
- Experience with Elementor Pro and Gutenberg.
- Strong proficiency in:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript (ES6+)
- PHP
- MySQL
- Experience creating or customizing WordPress themes.
- Experience modifying and extending WordPress plugins.
- Knowledge of WooCommerce customization.
- Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
- Experience with Custom Post Types (CPT) and custom taxonomies.
- Understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, and template hierarchy.
- Knowledge of REST API integration.
- Experience with Git/GitHub version control.
- Understanding of website security best practices.
- Knowledge of website optimization and caching.
- Familiarity with cPanel, FTP, and hosting environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Bricks Builder or Oxygen Builder.
- Knowledge of Laravel or modern PHP frameworks.
- Basic React.js knowledge for Gutenberg block development.
- Familiarity with WPML or Polylang.
- Experience with Cloudflare CDN.
- Understanding of technical SEO and structured data.
- Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
